"THIS IS INDIAN LAND" SUPER-8 FILM Encountering a railroad bridge with this message by the I.L.M.(Indian Liberation Movement) inspired me to contemplate on the relationship of the beautiful Canadian nature to the condition of the indigenous First Nation peoples in the cities. The intoxicated man symbolized "city scape" while the plea of the message, the loss of land and rights, contrasts as landscape. |

"THE SILENCE OF SOUND" SUPER-8 FILM The life of fish suggests "silence". But what is their reaction to sound? I brought sound to the life of my goldfish by taking them to a concert and observed, filming, the juxtaposition of their silence to sound. |

"RICHARD'S PAIN" SUPER-8 FILM Here I "exploited" a friend's anger and frustration brought about by the break up of a relationship. The idea was to get those emotions "out" by hitting with a large hammer a big metal drum. The messy environment he lived in during his stressful time became also part of the decor. |
